Australia’s largest teppanyaki table is at Melbourne’s WTC Wharf! Featuring 19 cooking stations and seating up to 44 people, enjoy the fun and spectacle of expert knife skills and flaming teppanyaki cooking at Riverside Teppanyaki.

Our teppan tables are the largest and most unique in Australia, and use the latest induction technology so that you can see and participate in the creation of your meal in total comfort.

Whether your preference is for wagyu, rock lobster or king prawns, you won’t leave disappointed at Riverside Teppanyaki. We’re open for lunch Monday to Friday and dinner every night in Siddeley Street, Melbourne.

Riverside Teppanyaki is Kobe Jones’ signature teppanyaki restaurant in Melbourne, offering a contemporary, interactive and entertaining dining experience for singles, couples, families and groups.

Our teppanyaki restaurant in Melbourne cooks in a traditional Japanese teppanyaki style, where diners play a big part in the preparation of their meals. The word teppanyaki is derived from the word ‘teppan’ which translates to iron plate, and ‘yaki’ which means grilled. Crucial to the teppanyaki experience is to watch the chef’s knife and cooking skills while your meal is being prepared. An art form not to be rushed, you’re invited to select your ingredients and interact with your personal chef as they create culinary delights before your very eyes.

Whether focused on teppanyaki or modern Japanese cuisine, all Kobe Jones restaurants employ expert chefs trained in the Japanese style, and use only the highest quality ingredients, sustainably sourced and impeccably fresh. The sea farmed or aquaculture products we source must meet our strict standards, and we only source fish where there is no threat to their sustainability.

At Kobe Jones, we adhere to a set of regulations in the selection and grading of all ingredients, including seafood, meat, grains and vegetables. All of our signature sauces and condiments are made on site, and our secret recipes are continually tested to guarantee their high standard of quality.
